A small country with a national team that plays in the biggest tournaments

Football is one of the most popular sports in Slovenia. Even though the country is small (about 2 million people), the national team regularly qualifies for the European Championship and World Cup.
Children play football in the parks, schoolyards, and on small pitches called 'igrišča' all across the country.
Slovenia has produced famous players who have gone on to play for big clubs across Europe, including Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan.
When the national team plays, almost the whole country watches - cafés bring out big screens and streets go quiet.
